History; When mechanic and tow truck operator Tony Parker pulled up to a beaten up 1975 chevy nova in the summer of 1977, he didn't realize his world was about to change. He thought of the fix as just that, another call on his busy schedule. He wasn't aware that the nurse inside with tear stained cheeks would change his world forever and make him the happiest man alive. But Brenda Batkin was everything he had always wanted and needed without knowing it. From her lovely fair skin to her sweet neutering nature, she was hard for the forever bachelor to resist. He found himself drawn to her, going out of his way to cheer her up as he took her car to the shop and personally saw to its repairs. He knew he needed her around, knew he had to see her again. So with little hesitation on his part, he asked her to lunch and the rest became history.

They were married after a four months courtship in her home town of Walnut Creek where they proceeded to live out their days. Most would consider them the perfect couple, Tony being utterly charming with his sarcastic nature and humorous outlook on life while Brenda makes up for his lackings by being one of the most kind and decent people imaginable. They were blessed with true love, any onlooker could see that.

It was on June 8th, 1977 at five thirty am at the local hospital that they brought into the world a little girl to complete their family. They named her Paige Janice Parker, her middle name echoing Tony's deceased sisters first name. She was to be whatever she wanted to be, as long as she was happy. They considered her their little miracle, an angel sent from above. They did not realize what a little hellion she would turn out to be.

As a child she was of a playful nature. Often she could be found laughing and grinning as she chased a neighbor boy by the name of Aidan Adams around. She was smitten, it was obvious by age five that she was absolutely nuts about the boy. Her parents of course thought of this was a phase, sure with age she would take on some female friends and leave the neighbor boy alone. However by the age of ten it was clear that the phase was not so much a phase but a permanent marker within her life.

She was dating said neighbor boy by age thirteen, forever by his side over the next seven years of her teen years. She would throw a fit when people said she wasn't well rounded enough, not caring to do things with other kids. Her world revolved around him which often worried her parents though they adored Aidan Adams. He was a good kid for the most part, forever raiding their kitchen but always out to protect their little girl. They knew he was a staple, having no choice but to accept it due to Paige's conviction to him. They knew if they tried to separate her from him she would easily run off with the boy, the thought causing her parents some panic.

It came to no surprise to anyone when the two were engaged by graduation. By the request of their parents however Paige & Aidan held off getting married until both were legal to drink. She had no issue with the wait, having already purchased an apartment with him and willingly living in sin till they could marry. She was smitten with her husband, loving him though with the good came a lot of bad.

The side that people not close to the couple saw was not what most would call healthy. The two often would bicker and shout at each other in public, quickly up in arms in jealousy and fear over one another. They fought (and fought and fought and fought) a lot. It was as if they couldn't stop arguing at times though underneath all the shouting their was always love. They seemed to break up once a week if not twice, her threatening to leave him or him threatening to leave her though neither would dare make that move. It was insane, it was juvenile and childish, but neither could stop their ways.

Marriage of course changed none of this. They were married on June 13, 1998 in the backyard of Paige's grandmother's house. The wedding cake was prepared by Paige, the food prepared by their families. It was a low budget wedding where guest drank beer instead of champagne but it was so clearly them. They were happy together, even when fighting. It was hard not to see that the two had no plans of being a divorce statistic, that they would make it.

But things got hard after awhile. In 2001 Paige suffered a miscarriage when she was shy of three months pregnant. This of course devastated her and by the beginning of September she was pulling away from her husband, moving back into her parents house. It wasn't that she didn't love him, on the contrary, she adored him, but the site of him became painful for her. She was miserable about her failure, having so desperately wanted to have a family with him. She was set on it being over, prepared to divorce him without a second thought about it all. But then September 11th happened. The event sent chills down her spin. Not only were innocent civilians lost in the tragedy but many fire fighters and cops were as well. The thought of Aidan not existing, of him being hurt or killed in the line of duty bought her back to reality. She was quick to apologize and try to make amends for her behavior.

These days life is fairly simple. Paige is one of the most respected pastry chefs in San Francisco while Aidan works proudly as an officer of the law. She still endlessly fights with her husband and attempts to leave him so often though less then when she was younger. They live together in a dream house which took them several years to design and have built. They are of course still paying for it, knowing it will be well into their sixties till they can afford what they created for themselves but ok with that. On a whole Paige is happy, content, and thankful that one night Tony Parker went to fix a car and instead found a wife.

~ Her book "Tarts Aren't Tricky" is considered a must have for anyone who wishes to do tarts. Not only did she with a sense of humor attack some tricky pastries, but she showed how to decorate them with ease.
~ A wedding cake done by Paige can sells for up to $10,000. They are considered originals and must have by many well-to-do society couples. Personally, Paige just charges so much due to the time and effort that she puts into each.
~ Paige is a worry-wart. If something isn't going according to plan, she tends to over analyze it and tear it apart. She often finds herself on the verge of a nervous break down if something goes wrong in the kitchen or with a friend. She doesn't like when she can't control a situation and fix whatever is wrong.
~ Since she was a little girl, Paige has always wanted Aidan Adams. She shared her first kiss with him at age eleven, started dating him by eight grade, and married him on June 13, 1998.
~ Paige's grandmother Martha is the one who helped her find her calling in pastry. She was a woman who loved to cook and always forced/asked Paige to assist her. She often dedicates her bake off winnings to her grandmother.
~ Both smudges on Paige's criminal record include Aidan. She blames him for both events and refuses to take any responsibility, citing "He started it. I said no, he was persistent. He's the reason we got in trouble".
~ Paige was diagnosed with bipolar disorder when she was nineteen. She does not have severe mood swings but she does suffer from bouts of depression from time to time.
~ Paige is on Lithium for her bipolar disorder. Because of her medication she does not drink much to at all... ever. Which is probably why she hates it when Aidan drinks.
~ Paige's musical taste could be considered eclectic though she prefers alternative, rock, and ambient music above all others. Her favorite bands & artists include Sting, John Mayer Trio, Muse, Damien Rice, Imogen Heap, and David Gray.
~ Paige has had two boyfriends her whole life. The first was Aidan, the second was a kid named Scott Lemcke who took her out on a date to the mall only to half way through the date ditch her because he heard a rumor that Aidan was on his way to beat him up.
~ Having been through three first trimester miscarriages now, Paige has come to accept the idea that children most likely won't happen for her & Aidan. She is ok with that however, knowing a kid growing up in their dramatic household would probably be considered unhealthy.
~ If given the chance to sleep with someone besides her husband - Colin Farrell, Clive Owens, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Dominic Purcell would probably run high on her list along with George Clooney.
~ Though she is a pastry chef, Paige does not have a huge sweet tooth. Her favorite food in the world is Peach Pie but if given a choice between desert and a greasy fried food appetizers (like a bloomin' onion), the appetizers will always win out.
~ Every time Paige leaves Aidan she ends up at her parents house where she hides in her old bedroom crying for days with no desire to get out of bed. Her parents the first time tried to deny Aidan access to her but since then, have changed their philosophy. They now demand he comes and gets her and fixes things.
~ When Paige was fourteen her appendix ruptured with little warning of appendicitis. Because of this, she was rushed into surgery. Unfortunately however they were a little late, she contracted sepsis. She stayed in the hospital for almost a month with the looming fear of death over head. Luckily, she recovered well though now she is terrified of hospitals and all stomach pains.
